Take a Swing… or a Swig at the Farmer’s Insurance Open PGA Golf Tournament

From January 25 through the 29th, Snake Oil Cocktail joined hundreds to witness 22 year-old Jon Rahm win his first career tour at the Farmer’s Insurance Open PGA Golf Tournament at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla. The victory was sweet, just like the drinks served up throughout the beautiful Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Grey Goose Lounge and Michelob Ultra Bar were just a couple of many places people could escape the sun, sit back with an icy drink, and watch the serene magic that is golf.

The week was crisp and bright, packed with golf fans attentively watching the action along the plush greens in January. The bars were packed on Saturday and Sunday as guests followed each swing and putt, and the tournament advanced to the finale.

The most popular drink of the weekend was the Grey Goose 19th Hole.

Cocktail Recipe: Grey Goose 19th Hole

1 1/2 Parts Grey Goose Vodka
2 Parts Orange Juice
1 Part Pineapple Juice
1 Part Lemon-Lime Soda

Build in a glass with fresh ice with Grey Goose vodka, orange and pineapple juices.
Top with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with a lemon slice.

Tiger Woods, Cheng Tsung Pan, Phil Mickelson, and Sebastian Munoz were some of the golf stars in attendance, stopping to thank and shake hands of fans, autographing hats and bags after each round.

Thank you to Behind the Scenes Catering for putting this amazing event together and we hope to see you next time at the PGA tour!
