Event: Without Walls Festival
For three days in October the WOW Festival (Without Walls Festival) takes over San Diego city with theater performances and interactive experiences. The festival which celebrates theatre without walls unfolds in various venues around the city including Bread & Salt, the San Diego Central Library and the Horton Plaza Park where different scheduled theatrical events takes place.
The La Jolla Playhouse organizes the festival as an extension of their award-winning productions. Critically acclaimed past Playhouse productions include Memphis and Jersey Boys.
Acts at the WOW Festival showcase performance groups and acting teams from all over the world, and there are many kinds of theatre involving the audience, new
VR experience technology and giving the audience insights through stories and dance. The WOW Program itself has been around for eight years and has become one of the ci
ty’s most popular and acclaimed performance series.
Snake Oil mixologist will provide beverage catering services and cash bar options for La Jolla Playhouse at WOW Festival between Oct 20 – 22 at Bread & Salt.
At the Bread & Salt location you will find productions of Walking La Llorona, Under Construction: An American Masque and Shasta Geaux Pop. Snake Oil will also have a bar setup during the Festival Club between 6pm – 12am, which is free admission and part of WOW Festival. Snake Oil will be showcasing a halloween themed cocktail, the Scarecrow.
