Wish Upon a Wedding
Early this winter, Snake Oil had the opportunity to participate in a beautiful, tropical-themed wedding unlike any we’ve catered before. Wish Upon a Wedding is a nonprofit organization that grants dream weddings to couples who are facing life-altering circumstances or serious illnesses.
Linda and Gabe, the stars of the evening, initially met playing competitive pool. After dating for a year, Gabe was diagnosed with Leukemia. Linda, having just gone through her nephew’s battle with cancer, had no hesitations to stay by his side, despite Gabe’s reluctance to ask her to continue the journey with him. Soon after a bone marrow transplant, Gabe knew he was meant to be with Linda forever, and proposed. On November 6, 2017, surrounded by family and friends, they were able to seal the deal.
Wish Upon a Wedding, with the help of many other wonderful vendors, brought this tropical wedding to life. Snake Oil was honored to be a part of it. We served London Calling and Tangerine Dream mocktails to the lovely couple and their guests.
London Calling (right) is a creamy delight composed of coconut milk, applewood infusion, fresh ginger, pressed lemon, and club soda.
Tangerine Dream (left) takes your tastebuds to paradise with its pressed tangerine, smashed pineapple, almond, orange flower water, and touch of vanilla & lime.
